My First Login to R1 Discover
A guide to logging into an R1 Discover account for the first time.
Logging in to R1 Discover
Now that we have received all of the information we need from R1 Discover, it is time for our very first login. If you don't have you login credentials, revisit the Getting Started with My Account page.
To login, we need to navigate to R1 Discover. You can navigate to the home page, or directly to the login page, both links are available here. If you go to the home page, just select login in the top right hand corner of the page as seen in the image below (circled in red).
Once you arrive to the login page (image 2 above), take the following steps to login:
Find the login information from your R1 Discover welcome email we covered in Getting Started with My Account
Input your email OR username
You'll be able to customize your username in your profile.
Input your temporary password
You'll be prompted to change your password upon login
Select the green Login button
If it doesn't work, double check your username and password

Accepting R1 Discover Terms & Conditions
Once you're logged into you R1 Discover account, you'll be asked to review and accept the R1 Terms & Conditions (See Image 3). You must accept them to get access to your R1 Discover accounts.
The R1 Discover Terms & Conditions can be reviewed at anytime, and you can choose to reject them at anytime. Rejecting them would both close and remove your personal data from the account. Here are the links to our terms and conditions:

Changing My Temporary Password
After you accept the terms and conditions, you'll be prompted to change our temporary password. R1 Discover will automatically redirect you to a page that looks like the below (image 4).
Before your change your password, it's important to note that R1 Discover follows industry standard password requirements.
An R1 Discover password must meet these criteria:
Password length of at least 8 characters
At least 1 Uppercase Character
At least 1 Lowercase Character
At least 1 Number
At least 1 Special Character
To change you temporary password, follow these steps:
Input your new password
Confirm your new password
Select Update Password
