Resetting Your Password

If you've forgotten your R1 Discover password, don't worry—it's an easy fix. This guide will walk you through the steps to reset your password so you can regain access to your account.

1. Access the Password Reset Page: Start by navigating to the R1 Discover login page.

2. Initiate Password Reset: Click on the Forgot Your Password link located below the login fields.

3. Enter Your Email: Type in the email address associated with your R1 Discover account.

4. Submit the Reset Request: Click the Reset Password button to send the password reset request.

5. Check Your Email Inbox: Open the email account you used for R1 Discover.

6. Find the Reset Email: Look for an email from R1 Discover with the subject line: "Thank you! Your R1 Discover password reset request has been received." If you don’t see it, check your spam or junk folder.

7. Reset Your Password: Click the Reset Password link in the email. This will open a new window.

8. Create a New Password: Enter a new password and confirm it in the fields provided.

   1. Password Criteria:

      1. Password length of at least 8 characters

      2. At least 1 Uppercase Character

      3. At least 1 Lowercase Character

      4. At least 1 Number

      5. At least 1 Special Character

9. Complete the Process: After entering your new password, click the Reset Password button to finalize the process.

10. Confirmation: You should receive confirmation that your password has been updated. You can now use your new password to log into your R1 Discover account.

11. Record Your New Password: It's important to save your new password in a secure location, such as a password manager.

12. Success: You can now return to the R1 Discover login page and access your account.
