Getting Started with My Account

Accessing my R1 Discover account for the first time.

When your first get an R1 Discover account, you will receive a welcome email from R1 Discover with some key information about your account and how to login for the first time. The email will look similar to the below image.

Here are the steps you should take:

1. Navigate to the email used to create the account. You likely received two emails from R1 Discover with the following subject lines, you'll want t open the first one:

   1. Congratulations! Your R1 Discover account has been created. (Open this one)

   2. Congratulations! You have been successfully added to R1 Discover.

2. Open the email and note the following information for yourself:

   1. Your Username & Email

   2. Your temporary password

3. After noting that information, you'll want to login to R1 Discover for the first time.
